#WildlifeWednesday! We are currently caring for several mourning doves in our outdoor aviaries at our Wildlife Care Center in Burlingame. Unfortunately these doves were attacked by cats which ended up causing feather loss and wounds to their bodies. They are all recovering well and we expect to return them to the wild soon. A reminder that it’s always best to keep cats indoors since it’s safer for wildlife and safer for the cat.
