Publication Distribution Volunteer
SUPERVISOR: Communications Manager
GOAL OF POSITION: Help promote the goals and objectives of PHS/SPCA by distributing shelter publications throughout the community.
TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately two to six hours every other month for a minimum of one year. Schedule is flexible, but must fall within the business hours of the service location centers (libraries, pet supply stores, veterinary clinics, community centers, etc.).
DUTIES: Build and maintain relationships with contact people at service location centers throughout the community; deliver Pawprint and other PHS/SPCA materials to service location centers; monitor supply of publication materials.
TRAINING: Completion of Volunteer Orientation. Training will be provided on the job.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy working with the public; be able to offer courteous, helpful and knowledgeable information regarding PHS/SPCA; possess a valid California driver’s license as well as have a clean driving record and be able to provide your own vehicle. Must be at least 18 years of age.
