SUPERVISOR: Retail Services Coordinator
GOAL OF POSITION: To act as a Welcoming Ambassador greeting the public as they enter the shelter.
TIME COMMITMENT: To be determined on an individual basis depending on work to be completed.
DUTIES: To address the questions and needs of the public as they enter the shelter, furnish them with relevant and specific information and point them in the right direction for assistance.
TRAINING: Completion of Volunteer Orientation. Training and guidance by the Customer Service Team.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy working with the public; be able to offer courteous, helpful and knowledgeable information regarding PHS/SPCA. Additionally, you must have the ability interact well with the staff and to work independently on special projects. Must be at least 16 years of age.
