Field Trips

During this 90-minute field trip, students will see adoptable animals, learn about the services we provide, and discover fun facts about the many species in our care. Each visit includes a guided tour of the shelter and one activity: reading to shelter dogs or making enrichment toys for the animals using supplies provided by your group. The reading program has a fee of $100, and the reading portion begins at 10 a.m.

Field trips are a wonderful way to recognize a class that has held a fundraiser or made a donation to support our shelter animals. Classes that complete a fundraising project for the shelter may apply the donations raised toward the reading program fee. We are grateful for every contribution, and so are the animals.
