Ways to Give
Because of you, local animals will receive the life-saving care they need to get their second chance. However you choose to donate, your gift will help the homeless, abused, and unwanted animals in our community
Tribute Gifts
Honor or memorialize your loved ones by supporting our shelter animals in their name. We can notify your loved one by sending a personalized card or e-card on your behalf.
Monthly Giving
Help save lives by becoming a Faithful Friend monthly donor to our animals. Recurring gifts ensure shelter animals receive the support they need while in our care.
Legacy Giving
Ensure future local animals receive the life-saving care they need by including our shelter in your will or estate plans. You can use our free online tool to help create your will or trust.
More ways to give
DAF
A donor-advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, allows for flexibility in your charitable giving while also providing potential tax benefits. To learn more about supporting our shelter animals through your DAF and access our DAF tool, click here.
IRA/QCD
If you’re 70 ½ or older, making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) through your IRA will help save the lives of local animals while potentially saving on taxes. To learn more about helping shelter animals through your IRA, click here.
Stock Gifts
Help save the lives of local animals by giving gifts of stock while potentially receiving tax benefits. For more information on donating stock, visit our stock gifts webpage.
Matching Gifts
By having your donation matched by your employer, you’re doubling your impact on shelter animals. To learn more, click here to visit our matching gift webpage or check with your Human Resources department to see if they will match your gift.

Please note: No national-sounding organizations provide us any financial support. The ASPCA (which is actually a local humane society for Manhattan in New York City), Humane World for Animals (formerly HSUS), and Best Friends Animal Society (Best Friends) are known for their work on behalf of animals, but they do not provide any direct care for animals here on the Peninsula. Individual circumstances vary. Information contained on this site does not constitute legal or tax advice. Individuals should consult with their financial advisor and/or attorney for advice. For your information, our Tax ID # is 94-1243665.
