Children Helping Animals
Even though children don’t generally have jobs or a steady income, many have found ways to help our shelter animals. Some raise money by selling lemonade or baked goodies, for example, while others hold donation drives for funds and needed items. Classes and Girl/Boy Scout troops organize inventive projects, and many children even request donations to PHS/SPCA instead of birthday or holiday presents! There are numerous fun and creative ways to make a difference, and the children of our community have been most inspiring. If you know someone who fits this description, we would love to recognize their generosity with a certificate and/or tour of the shelter. Simply contact Jolie Cole at 650-340-7022 ext. 369 or [email protected].
