How Your Donation Helps

PHS/SPCA provides warm beds, nutritious food, veterinary care and loving attention for the thousands of lost, stray, unwanted and/or injured domestic and wild animals that come through our doors each year. We depend on the support of community members and concerned animal lovers to help us provide for these animals in need. There are many ways you can help PHS/SPCA and our shelter animals. Browse on the left for information on donating, honor/memorial gifts, vehicle donations, monthly giving, bequests, and other ways you can help.  Funding Areas

There are several key areas in which your funds can help PHS/SPCA. Feel free to designate your gift to any of the six funding areas listed below. If no designation is indicated, we will distribute donations to whichever programs most urgently need them.

Please note: No national-sounding organizations provide us any financial support. The ASPCA (which is actually a local humane society for Manhattan in New York City), the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and Best Friends Animal Society (Best Friends) are known for their work on behalf of animals, but they do not provide any direct care for animals here on the Peninsula.
