Canine Good Citizen

For dogs with basic obedience training.

Canine Good Citizen is a certification program for dogs with consistent, good manners. Classes cover topics such as greeting friendly strangers, walking on loose leash, walking through a crowd, and staying in place. Dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.

Requirements: Dogs should be vaccinated and have graduated from a beginner group course at PHS/SPCA or another training facility.
