Some wildlife magic happened this week! We received two orphaned baby California Quail earlier this week and then the following day an unrelated adult female California Quail was brought into our Wildlife Care Center for treatment. We introduced the two babies to the adult female and she’s now acting as a surrogate mother to the little orphans who are doing very well! Soon the entire new blended family will be able to be returned to the wild!
