Who doesn’t love barn owls?! We received these two barn owls from Palo Alto and Pescadero, one with treatable leg injuries and the other who had fallen from his nest. After being treated and determined ready for release back into the wild, they were placed in a hack box on a property in San Mateo County. Hack boxes allow owls to have a safe place to naturally fledge until they are ready to leave on their own time.
