Spay & Neuter Clinic Volunteer (Reception Area)

GOAL OF POSITION: Provide assistance to the Spay and Neuter Clinic Receptionist and the public.

SUPERVISOR: Spay & Neuter Clinic Office Supervisor

TIME COMMITMENT: At least three hours a week for a minimum of one year. Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm

DUTIES: You will be scheduling appointments for spay and neuter procedures; helping to educate people on pre- and post-surgical care for their animals; admitting and discharging animals to their guardians; assisting with the phone and paperwork of the clinic; filing shot clinic records and completing vaccination reminder cards.

TRAINING: Completion of Volunteer Orientation. Additional training will be provided by clinic staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must enjoy working with animals and with the public; have good phone and interpersonal skills; be patient, courteous and willing to help in all areas of the clinic as needed; must have legible handwriting. Must be at least 18 years of age.
