The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA had been in dire need of a new home for our vital work. With a final push from supporters, that home opened in September 2011 and has transformed our adoption experience. Adopters, visitors, animal lovers and peers use words like warm, inspiring, creative and fun to describe our privately-funded Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Rd. in Burlingame.  Adoptions are just part of what makes our Center special. We offer peeks into behind-the-scenes work for kittens, dogs and wildlife, and a one-of-a-kind hands-on learning space for kids.
