Samantha Lundquist is a Bay Area native who has been surrounded by dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals for as long as she can remember. She began volunteering with the Behavior Department at PHS/SPCA in 2007 as a high school student and was hired on to the team in early 2013. She attended Trish King’s Canine Behavior Academy (Levels 1 and 2) in Marin and has fostered some 25+ dogs all varying in breed, age, size and temperament.
As a staff member at PHS/SPCA, she works with dogs who have behavioral issues, trains volunteers to work with the shelter dogs, and counsels members of the public before and after adoption. She grew up with Labradors and a scruffy terrier mix but has grown to love and admire the Pit Bull Terrier.
