It took five days for our rescue staff to safely capture this injured mallard in Hillsborough. He had a plastic six pack ring stuck in his mouth and around his neck. Our staff cut him free of the plastic and he was treated at our Wildlife Care Center for the cuts on the sides of his mouth. After a full recovery the mallard was released back to the creek where he was found in Hillsborough.
