Bark n’ Brewfest @ West Washington Park

A fun filled fundraiser for Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA where local craft breweries, cider makers, and a few artisan wineries will be pouring samples of their brews. There will also be music, PHS/SPCA adoptable pets, a prize wheel, and exciting pet-themed vendors. Dogs are welcome to attend.

The Doctor & The Chef @ Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA

Join Chef Lisa Books-Williams and Doctor Debra Shapiro for a 3 hour workshop where you will watch and learn how to easily prepare health-promoting, delectable food. Learn the benefits of plant-based eating from both a medical doctor and a chef. Get your questions about plant-based nutrition answered by a physician expert. Chef Lisa will demonstrate at least 7 recipes during the course of the workshop and there will be generous samples for all. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to support their life-saving work.

Is your dog destined for fame? Pied Piper Players is looking for a small dog (Chihuahua preferred) to take on the role of “Bruiser Woods” and a bigger dog to play “Rufus” in their production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Dog Pawditions will be held Sunday, September 8th from 10 am to 12 pm at Peninsula Humane Society, 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame.

$10 audition entry fee
